This bread is so moist and delicious! Perfect with a cup of hot tea.
Modified recipe from Hannah Maynard
- 2 C. flour
- 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1-1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 C. chopped nuts
- 2 T. flax seed (optional)
- 1/2 C. butter, melted
- 3/4 C. sugar (I used 1/2 C. evap. cane juice)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 C. pumpkin
Combine dry and wet ingredients separately; mix together just until thoroughly moistened. Bake for one hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
