Oatmeal Scotchies

Recipe from Nestle Tollhouse's "Best-Loved Recipes" cookbook

Freeze well

These are my brother's favorite cookies. He's crazy about them. =)

• 1 C. butter, softened
• 3/4 C. sugar
• 3/4 C. brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1-1/4 C. flour
• 3 C. rolled oats
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1-2/3 C. butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F; grease cookie sheets.

Cream butter, sugars; add eggs, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients, then stir into creamed mixture; add chips.

Bake for 7-8 minutes or until edges are slightly brown.
